iCloud Sync issues
If the synchronization between the Mac OS X Budget Bal App and the iOS Budget Bal App seems to have stopped working, try these steps to resolve the issue:
- Reboot your Mac. If that does not resolve the issue, then proceed.
- Uninstall the Budget Bal app from all Mac devices (ie, if it's on more than one Mac, remove it from all of them)
- On your iOS device, stop the Budget Bal app from running. You can do this by double-clicking the home button, then scrolling to the Budget Bal app, then swipe it up.
- On your iOS device, go to Settings -> Budget Bal and toggle OFF the "Use iCloud" switch
- On your iOS device, start the Budget Bal app and choose to copy iCloud documents to Local
- Now, you have a local copy of your iCloud documents for Budget Bal
- On your Mac, open the System Preferences and go to iCloud
- Click on the Manage button
- Select the Budget Bal app
- Click on the Delete Documents and Data button
- Confirm the deletion of Budget Bal iCloud documents
- Click the Done button and exit the System Preferences
- On your iOS device, stop the Budget Bal app from running.
- On your iOS device, go to Settings -> Budget Bal and toggle ON the "Use iCloud" switch
- On your iOS device, start the Budget Bal app and choose to use iCloud if prompted
- Now, your Budget Bal documents are in iCloud and will be synched to your Mac
- On your Mac, install and run the Budget Bal app
- Synchronization should now start working again
- If it still isn't working, try searching the Net for other possible solutions.
